I enjoy exploring cultures through food, and I’m lucky to live in a city where I can experience a variety of cuisines from around the world with just a train ride. In this illustration, I’ve captured my experience at the Queen's Night Market with friends last fall 2024. The market runs every year from early summer to early fall. Food reviews have become a popular trend on social media (something I’ve always wanted to do) but as someone who is camera-shy, it’s not always easy. This is where art comes in handy. Through art, I can document and share experiences online, but also create a physical piece where I can hold and revisit the memory over and over again with paint and paper.
